Interested in being part of Wisconsin's national data sharing effort? The TiPSSWIJIS interface permits Wisconsin Justice Information Sharing (WIJIS) participating agencies to query TiPSSRecords information.

The Police Department can customize the interface to determine the extent of the information to be shared. This automated and secure transfer of information aids Wisconsin Police Departments and WIJIS in achieving the goal of “providing authorized users with a single secure point of access to read-only information collected and stored in disparate agency databases throughout the state.”

Features and functions include:

  • Provides for sharing TiPSSRecords data with Wisconsin and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • Ensures a safe and secure transfer of accurate and in-depth information.
  • Preserves local control to determine the extent of information available to participating LEAs.
  • Tracks requests for information made by participating LEAs, detailing what information was requested and when.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. The entire family of TiPSS interfaces were engineered to share data across multiple agencies and geographies.
